The ship lands and Commander Keen wakes up. He is in his backyard. He sees his mother peeking out of the back door, then rushing out to greet him with a confused look on her face. A ramp extends from his ship, which is a very original thing for me to have happen, and Commander Keen steps off the ship. He removes his football helmet and tosses it through his clubhouse window, which is, thankfully, open. His dad runs out of the house. "Where the heck did you get that?" asks his mom. "Don't ask," replies Billy. "Where have you been?" asks his dad. "Don't ask," replies Billy. His parents shrug and walk off toward the house. Then his sister runs out the house. "Billy, what the heck is that?" "An interstellar starship that enables me to reach the farthest stretches of the cosmos and dispense justice with an iron hand," replies Billy. His sister shrugs and says," Whatever." Everyone walks off toward the house. Billy Blaze looks at the horizon and can see the Channel 3 News Car just peeking over it. A meteor crashes into Billy's clubhouse and the Channel 3 News Car quickens it's pace. Another meteor hits the clubhouse and the Channel 3 News Car gives the road a third degree burn as it races to Billy's house. That was no coincidence; two meteors hitting his clubhouse within ten seconds. Mortimer is up to something. Billy doesn't know what, but he is up to something. He fetches his football helmet from the clubhouse rubble and frowns as he looks at the limp body of his pet Yorp. He puts his helmet back on his head and gets in the spaceship. "They killed my Yorp," thinks Keen. "Mortimer will pay." He then takes off. At the site of the ship taking off again, the Channel 3 News Car gives the road fourth degree burns, crashes into a tree, and blows up half the block while burning the other.
