                                Why do they call Yorps, Yorps?
  

     Yorps just look like your ordinary alien-like Commander Keen character.  But, why do they call 'em Yorps?  They don't go, "YORP!" when they jump and down?  Then why are Yorps called Yorps you ask well it starts like this... A long time ago on the planet Mars...
     "I say we ditch 'em!" said the commander who put his fist down firmly.
     "Why?" asked the assistant, "They're family." She looked at her husband with
sad eyes.
     "They're not humans, they can't live on Earth, now give 'em a boot or'll I give
you one!"  She obeyed and opened the hatch and let the aliens out, four of them.  One she
had raisen all by herself, she named him Griggle, because he said it over and
over.  Griggle looked up her.  He saw her sad eyes.  He came up to her and
rested his one eye on her hip.
     "Go now, Griggle," she said, she petted him and he went off.  Griggle looked behind, the hatch closed the the Vorkx X-45 zoomed off towards Earth.  And from that day, the Yorps have been multiplying from Griggle's family until Commander Keen arrived, but that's another story.
