The mimrock isn't a very anatomically complex character. It's body parts
are simple and few (Scoff, if you must, but remember that's alot for a
clod
of mineral) Here's a brief diagram to point out and explain them.

1- The hard outer casing of the mimrock- gray in color, and in bulk
taking up over 3 times as much room as the rock's tiny brain.
2- The lower surface of the mimrock. Thinner than the rest of the casing,
the bottom surface also carries less weight (one explanation of the rock's
top-heaviness)
3- The rock's eyes are its most extraordinary features; it can
make them totally dissapear when it stands still- adding to the allusion
of it being
just an ordinary hunk of granite. When stunned, the eyes bulge out and
cross.
4- The rock's legs are the thing that really help one distinguish it between
regular
ol' Earth rocks and this particular race. The legs a retracted up inside
the hollow shell
while the rock is still or dormant, and are useful for both sneaking
around behind our
hero's back and propelling in through the air in a wobbly flip.
5- The tip of the rocks shell, tapering to a point at the top- similar
to a 'head' on any other creature.
(Perhaps this is the origin of the expression 'pointed head' referring
to a dense or stupid
person?) The top area is very thick to prevent the rock's minimal brain
from being damaged,
seeing it lands on it's head so often. (Perhaps 'thick skull' is related
too!)
That's about all. I told you it wasn't very complex. 'Later.
