What have we here? A really bad game, that's what.
Okay, I was a bit negative on that review. It's really
not that bad of a game overall, but it has such a crummy storyline and stuff that it is
easy to criticize. Don't go on my opinions alone. Try it out yourself. You'll probably
hate it, but what the heck; try it anyway.
Graphics: 7
Despite the lack of details, the graphics are pretty good.
Gameplay: 6
There are a few things missing from the engine, but I can't figure out what. One thing is
that jumping off of poles hardly makes you go up at all. While this makes it more
realistic than Keens4-6, it doesn't really help the fun factor.
Game Design: 7
The game design is still good in most areas. Levels like Apple Acres and Bridge Bottoms
(nice name, huh?) are examples where the game design is bad. Plus, the storyline is NOT
creative, even though Gamer's Edge says it is.
Satisfaction: 4.5
You blow up a big spud and then wake up and talk to your mom about the president and
vegetables. Does that really sound fun to you?
Sound: 3
The sound is welcome, except for the noise made when you enter a level. And there is no
music. If there was, it would most likely be the Sugar Plum Fairy tune.
Overall Rating: 57.8
Memorable Moment:
Winning the game and realizing it was just a dream.
