"Alright mah' black brotha's and sista's," preaches Street Scum, the black-as-night, slang-talking gangster from Korath III to what could easily be a congregation or cult in what could easily be a poor run-down church or a cult house, "I want us to keeeeeeep on preaching, and keeeeeeep on spreadin' the good news! You gotta' be good! You gotta' be doing the works! Fo' the kingdom of heaven could come crashing down through the roofs of this church any moment! And if you ain't doing the works, then you ah' in trouble!" There is a gasp in the congregation/cult that Street Scum was leading as part of the roof caves in and a bright white light shines through it. "Street Scum," comes a voice. "I want you to come with me." "Yes! Yes!" yells Street Scum. "Ah' will come with you! Show me yo' kingdom!" The light then takes Street Scum away to the Shadows of the Shadowlands, a place where no one could find him, and dumps him next to four British people arguing and a spaceship made of old soup cans, rubber cement, and plastic tubing. "Hey!" yells Street Scum as the alien spacecraft flies away. "Whatcho' be doin'?" "We're bloody stranded here on an alien planet," says one of the British guys. "Aw, dang it," says Street Scum. "I thought that thing was from heaven or something." The four British people start laughing. "It ain't frikkin' funny!" yells Street Scum. Street Scum surveyed his surroundings. He was in a clearing, about X feet wide and X feet long. If he had been dropped over Y feet away from his current position, he would have been dropped in a forest. Speaking of forest, Street Scum noticed an eight year old kid genius was walking out of the woods and coming toward them with a shocked look on his face. Commander Keen walked back toward his ship with a shocked on his face. How had five humanoid people already found their way to his ship? And what did they want?
