let's talk about shadowlands 3.
talk about anything, like trailers, episode names etc.
And most importantly, THEORIES!
And the cast in episode 3 (such as killspy in episode 2)

Xky's Theory:
alright, Xky's theory on Shadowlands episode 3:
+ there will be some moments of incredible flash animation and art
+ there will be some moments of Animaniacs style humor
+ there will be an unexpected turn of events
+ there will be little progress made in the overall war between the Licks and Slugs
+ there will be another wonderfully remixed Bobby Prince song
+ there will be top-notch voice acting
- there will be some moments of lousy sound synchronization (it's a Flash thing, after all)
- there will be some moments that are easy to predict (only so many ways you can develop a story)
- there will still be no Commander Keen (or will there?)
that's my take on it ;-) based on the first two Shadowlands episodes, i expect nothing short of breathtaking talent. and as such, i'm more than content to wait for a year (or two!) for episode 3.
bottom line: don't rush it ;-D

personally i think commander keen will make a cameo apperance in the last episode just as all is well in the shadowlands.
title is "????, ????, ?????"
so my guess would be um.....
...well how could i possibly tell cos they'll probably use more words like leggo and yego.

Well, I suppose this is where I'm supposed to step in and give you guys little hints about what to expect.
Last year, I released the Shadowlands 2 trailer about 5 months before the actual animation was released, and I regretted doing that, because I had to keep putting back the release date. So this year, I had made up my mind to not mention anything major about the project (not even the title) until it's 50% finished at least.
What can I say about it without violating my decision? Well...
- most, if not all, of Xky's comments are correct
- there will be references to at least three movies
- at least three of the Gnosticus aliens that have never been in a Shadowlands animation up to this point will be seen
- Duke Mushroom will not be the star of it
That's all I'm giving ya. For now.

BTW i think the sound synchronization was very good. It's pretty difficult to make it correctly

0% is finished so far.
Well, technically, that's not true. The story is worked out pretty solidly, and a few pre-production animations are finished, but no actual story animation has been completed yet. That's why I don't want to talk too much about it until it's 50% done, because it's still not guaranteed that I'll actually finish it.

Well, I don't think totally new creatures, though there probably are all kinds of things in Shadowlands we haven't seen, but probably there only will be those we already know; but we can see some things about them we wouldn't ever know..

Either way, the series will be fantastic! (with Ilsoap making it, it could probably just be a demo of keen 4 and it would still be great). Keep up the great work Ilsoap!

I'm not planning on adding any new alien species.
On a different note, it's been three and a half months since it came out... I don't think it qualifies as "NEWS" anymore. Is someone going to take the news article off of the front page of the news forum?
