If Keen or Mortimer were real...
What would you ask them? I mean, If you could interview one or both of them, what would you say?

:)

I would ask: "Keen, don't you have ever stomachache if you eat 1000 candybars in hour?"

I'd ask Keen:

1) what'd you do with the faceguard to the helmet between your trips to the Vorticon Homeworld (was it IV or VI?) and the Shadowlands?

2) what exactly does the pile-height adjustment on the Bean-with-Bacon Megarocket do? (i believe that's what it was referred to in Ep.1)

3) which of your many foes was the scariest to face? :-D

on the other hand, I'd ask Mortimer:

1) why do you always strike a deal with inferior alien races, when you could so easily conquer the world/galaxy/universe yourself?

2) do you actually wear the mysterious black helmet left in the Armageddon Machine, or were you merely leaving it there to creep Keen out?

3) do you need a lackey? *devious grin*

Re: If Keen or Mortimer were real...
And now, an explcsuive interview between Billy Blaze (AKA "Commander Keen") and Too Much Spare Time (AKA "King Sluggy")

TMST: Welcome, Billy. Thanks for coming here on such short notice.
BLAZE: No problemo, Mr Time.
TMST: Well, first of all, do you ever plan to finish your "Fast Track College Degree" that you were studying through correspondence?
BLAZE: Nope, I'm too busy saving the world from certain destruction.
TMST: But you're a kid genius. Planet Earth has enough military resources to defend itself - why don't you just put your brains to good use, like discovering a universal cure for cancer, or writing scripts for "Roswell"?
BLAZE: I've got a question for YOU, Mr Time. Why don't YOU stop wasting your time spreading vicious progapanda about me in your Commander Keen cartoons.
TMST: Well, I hardly think that -
BLAZE: I saw that "mockumentary"...
TMST: This interview is over. Goodnight.

The "Too Much Spare Time" Network. Something funny every few days. Or Else.

:lol !!!! Excellent, TMST!!

BTW, the "Pile Height Adjustment" is an adjustment on the Vacuum Cleaner for different carpet pile thicknesses.

TMST: that didnt' take long :-)

Adurdin: i know that's what pile-height adjustment on a VACUUM is for... but the vacuum serves as the propulsion unit on the BwB, doesn't it? how does pile-height affect the ship's speed/steering/etc?

Re: If Keen or Mortimer were real...
Well, if the pile-height adjustment affects where the endpoint of the vaccum is, and that endpoint is where the explosion that propels the rocket comes out, then the adjustment can affect the direction of the thrust, aka manuverability.

Of course, since I don't even know what the pile-height adjustment is on a REGULAR vaccum cleaner, I have no say in this and am just guessing.
