That's right, there actually was going to be a third Halloween Harry game! Unfortunely since Gee Whiz broke up and alot of the staff went on to Krome Entertainment (They recently made Ty the Tasmanian Tiger for the PS2), the game never happened, though Steve Stamatiadis told me in an e-mail that sometimes they do talk about/are asked about Harry, so maybe one day we will see that sequel. Hey, Commander Keen eventually made a comeback (Albeit on the Gameboy Color) So why not Harry? Anyway, the following is a direct qoute about the proposed Harry sequels from an e-mail Steve Stamatiadis sent me on the subject in late 2003:

"Here's a quick list of aborted attemps at a Harry 3 (there's more than you think) Zombie Wars: MIA - an expansion pack for Zombie wars featuring unused maps and some new variations of enemies like burning blue zombies that would throw their skulls at you. Also the game ran at 640x480 in stead of 320x200 so it showed a lot more map area with smaller sprites.

Lunchbreak Commandoes - A series of desktop adventures designed to be played in 15 minute chunks - top down view and mouse controlled. 2D top down view.

Halloween Harry: Undead - the one where harry fights the vampires with heda - designed as a two player co-op game. This was the first full 3D Harry design and featured the new Stakegun as well as all the Zombie Wars weapons and the return of the Flamethrower.

Halloween Harry 3: Again Full 3D but this time with a lot more 3D experience behind us. This was using the character redesigns from the TV series stuff John and I wrote. The screenshots are set on Planet Xerbius which is and important locale in the Harry universe now :) The Demo had 3 playable characters - Harry, Sidewinder Sally and Roc Starburner. Also introduced the use of vehicles to run over zombies - this is 4 years before Halo :)

Halloween Harry: Sidewinder - This was a kind of Side game Rob Crane and myself were working on - a full side scroller using 3D graphics - The game starred Sally since we wanted to have some different gameplay from Harry (no Jetpack) - The demo was put together quickly using assests from HH3

Project: Xerbius - Current working title for a Harry 3 game using the Ty engine. The characers were all redesigned to feel more like the old sprites. We did a bit on this last year but haven't really done much more since we're concentrating on Ty 2. If we get interest from fans we may try and push this to publishers - lots of guys at work are fans of Harry and are dying to work on a sequel."

Pretty interesting huh? Anyway, all the images related to the sequels on found on Steve's website (You actually need to dig through some of his older stuff to find 'em though) can be found below, as can the Project Xerbius pic Steve sent me and the 2 Halloween Harry 3D screenshots I found on the 'net AGES ago. Man, I'd love to get my hands on the demos he mentioned...
