I've talked to Tom on a few occasions, and I tried to get him to
come here, but he didn't seem interested. He sent this to me about a
week ago, but since I almost never check my drigon account (the old
one I used to email him) I just got it yesterday. I sent him back
the URL, and heard the good news just now.
Anyway, there you
go. Good news eh?
I don't think Keen 3D is likely,
considering the size and scope of Monkeystone right now, but I'm
sure whatever they do will be good.

- I changed his member status... it's a bit more fitting than

Trilian is an inferior version of "the green flower" ICQ, and it
has a gargantuan swag of emoticons and mini-pics for every
occasion.
(Trust me, Trilian sucks. I tried it and soon
stopped bothering with it. And if it's worse than "the green flower"
ICQ, it must be pretty lame.)

arg
without dragging this too far off-topic, i've just got to refute
what TMST said about Trillian... before i had to reformat my
computer, i had ICQ, AIM, and MSNIM installed on my computer... if i
wanted to chat to people, i had to start of 3 different programs,
and worry about the passwords for each, the configurations,
etc...
Trillian is a fairly solid middle platform that allows
me to speak with all 3 chat methods through one interface. yes, some
of its handling of ASCII characters isn't perfect (sometimes seeing
%20 instead of a space when viewing users profiles, etc) but as far
as ease of use... it's great.
i've been living off of a 6+
year old computer for a while now... when you've only got a 4 gig
harddrive to work with, every bit counts--having only one program
installed instead of 3 is GREAT! so while the options may be a bit
limited, i still support it wholeheartedly.
