Heaven and
Hell.
Someone once said "I could never stand playing a harp for
eternity." This shows an extreme ignorance of heaven. A disabled
friend of mine once describd hell as "A room filled with people, no
one can understand each other, not matter what, for eternity." This
shows a remarkable insight into hell. What do you think heaven and
hell are like?
If no one gets whats going on- too bad!

Human creations to attempt to guess the unknown of what happens
after death.
Some
people are pragmatists, taking things as they come and making the
best of the choices available. Some people are idealists, standing

Short answer: heaven is eternity with God, hell is eternity away
from God.
I'll tell you what hell's not, though. Hell is not
a big sea of fire where you get tormented by demons in red pajamas
holding pitchforks. (The demons holding the pitchforks, not the
pajamas.) Hell was (and is) simply a place made for those who don't
want to be with God.

I got 2 reasons for hell:
- über-bad, like in Dante
- a place
where people who had their lives bad relive it. I mean, they get
drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, etc.
Heaven must be a nicer, more
calm place to be. Well, I would hate to get to hell...

I tend to think of hell as being less torture as
distance from God. However, I believe Heaven is more than being
close to God, I think of it more as a place where we can enjoy Gods
creation as it was supposed to be. A friend of mine once said "God
built creation in a week, that's a lot of creativity, do you think
he'll leave the sky the same colour, or grass green? When we get to
heaven its gonna be one big drug trip." I agree, remember, God
invented the ability to get high.

I don't actually believe in Heaven or Hell, as such. However,
depending on what you do with your life, there are a few choices
after death. If, during your life, you're a "whirlpool" personality
(as in, someone who takes from otheres, drains emotions, etc, etc),
you'll suck yourself down into Density. THAT is a place to avoid. No
thought at all, just an eternal awareness of eternally burning
cold.
If, however, you've been a "neutral" or "white star"
personality (someone who relies on their own emotional stability, or
someone who actively makes an effort to improve others lives), what
happens after you die is what you choose or believe will happen.

An interesting philosophy, Destiny = Hell, and since I want to go
to heaven when I die, heaven exists. The question arises, if you can
do whatever you want [what you want to happen] then does that make
you God? What if you want to be with someone for eternity, but they
don't want to be with you? What if the two of you want different
things? Can you affect anything in this life after you die? Who
judges wether or not your whirlpool or white star? Why is being a
whirlpool personality bad?...

corruption of a natural system, but God created the ability to feel
good, even nirvanaic. I believe there is nothing inherently bad in
drugs, but that letting them take over your life [addiction] is.

Well, it's simple enough. Into play here comes the idea of personal
reality. Each person has their own existence, seperate from others.
For your existence, you are 'God'. The world responds to your
thoughts, desires, and expectations, good or bad. You can impinge on
others realities, changing things, but at no point can you ever
truly control another person.
A whirlpool personality is just
that. Anything that sucks into itself will, without feeding, consume
itself. Likewise, something that spins outward will continue to do
so until stopped by an outside force. It's simple metaphysics. ;P

Hmmm, nice definition.
If have an interesting viewpoint for you. What if 'reality' is
composed soley of peoples perceptions of it? By this I mean that
everyone has their own little universe that no one can alter or
effect, but reality itself is composed of the sum of all these
personal universes. In this case, hell is not your personal choice
after you die, neither is heaven, but both are created collectively
by those who die.
As an example, it is not someone attemting
to control your universe when they punch you in the nose, its just
that everyones collective universes caused reality to be that person
smacking you in the nose.
