Commander Keen Episode Five Review

Keen5 is also a great game. The "Goodbye Galaxy" series could probably be considered Romero and Hall's greatest achievement. The secret message is the best part of the game.

Graphics: 6.8

In this game, they didn't try as many fancy tricks with the graphics as in keen4, but it
uses the same engine as Keen4.

Gameplay: 7

The gameplay is just as good as Keen4, but I thought I'd give the game a little discipline.
The gameplay for deciphering the secret message isn't very good though, because it requires
a translation, a paper, a pencil, and five minutes free time.

Game Design: 8

Good level designs, but the secret level was very hard for me when I was younger. Also, the
levels are set up in a way that makes it harder to remember their names.

Satisfaction: 10

The satisfaction is still good. Especially since this game has two endings. And if you
decipher the secret message at the end of the game, you're in for a big surprise.

Sound: 6

The music and sound is good also. Although I don't like the music as much as Keen4, the
quality is just as good. There is even music when you decipher the secret message.
Unfortunately, it makes it harder to think.

Overall Rating: 78.6

Memorable Moment:

Deciphering the letter.

A semi-good rating. Deciphering the secret message is fun, even if it does require work. You really should decipher it.
