The moment you've been waiting for...
Remember when I said to expect Isis around April 1st? Well here it is. We've decided to drop a few features we really wanted for this release in order to get it out in a timely fashion, but I doubt you'll notice 
Here's what to expect when you play:
12 all new enemies. (not including similar ones)
6 amazing maps (including a secret level!!!!)
4 weapons to vanquish your foes.
4 powerups.
a super cool menu system
and a heck of a lot more!!!
In a few weeks you can also expect the level editor and an update which removes a lot of the bugs.
I'll shut up now and leave you to your playing.

Huh? What are you talking about? Are you sure you got the right zip. It was about 2.5 megs?
Anyway. Guys, I don't know how they found out so god damn quick, but I just got an email from Todd Hollenshed at it. I'm sure you can guess as to what it says -- something along the line of "Please remove the game from all websites as well as all screenshots that contain id copyrights." along with a cease and decist order. They didn't go so far as to threaten a lawsuit, but I got the general feeling that if I didn't do what they said a lawsuit would be pursued.
Don't worry though! I think maybe I can convince id to let me continue. I hope so anyway. I contacted Tom Hall, maybe he'll help me out? I dunno. I'll keep you posted. Sorry about this, now it probably seems like I'm jerking you around.
Well I feel jerked around too.

Awwww man now I cant play it. ID please stop stopping people making keen fan made games. You dont see nintendo stopping Mario fan made games because everyone loves them. Fangaming is great and I love it so why do you do that ID software. You dont even make keen anymore and they are free!

I assume you mean the one high above the pit of spikes?
Hint: Three lefts make a right.
Spoiler below:
In the left wall of the pit, right at the bottom, there's a secret passageway. Go in there, jump left twice and activate the hidden switch. Now get the pogo and jump out of the hole - you have exactly 1024 milliseconds to get on the platform on the other side of the pit. It is possible, I assure you.

All I can say is.... WOW!
The earlier demos gave me no idea the final game would be like this!!! You guys have done a fantastic job!
I was really impressed by the 3D cutscenes; that one between levels 3 & 4 was so funny, I was laughing for five minutes!
Now I want the second half!!!

I can't believe they actually care about Isis. It is just a fan game. I think Hall must be doing something, or at least taking an interest or something, because I saw him on that "people here in the last 15 minutes" thing at the bottom of the ezboard. That's pretty weird though that id stopped it within a few hours of it being online. How quickly did they shut down "Keen and the Moonstone?"

I guess I was grabbing at straws, but Tom said there's nothing he can do. It's their property. Of course, he doesn't think it's fair, but just because it's not fair doesn't mean they'll let us continue.
I still have a few ideas, we'll see...
For those of you who have the game, anyone find the secret level yet? If so, tell me what it is so I'll know you've found it
I made the secret level, and I think it's awesome.

Well, it's unfortunate, but id still holds the reins where Keen is concerned. I really think you should go along with their demands, Ben, or you could find yourself in a whole load of trouble.
From a corporate point of view, id's position makes sense, as they believe they can still make money from Keen. That's not what I want, but I have very little say in the matter.
