Another update
I got the keys and the new status bar finished (there was a prob you didn't know about), which were things DML was waiting on, and now I've turned back to the shooting up/down frames. I've gotten them done fore the Zeffer, with about 4 more sets to do and a few partial sets.

I know your gonna hate this, but not every weapon will shoot up/down. I just started on these, so it'll be a while before their in, but I have no doubt they'll be in the next demo.

The next internal demo sounds close, I'm not sure HOW close, but it does sound close. (it's VERY important that it get done soon so we can really get to work on the 3rd level!). We still don't have anything to show you though, but as soon as the new internal demo comes out we'll have some screens, perhaps of one of the powerups.

We MAY have a replacement for the loss of Corey, we're currently talking with someone about doing some special art that's very crucial to the story, flow, and feel of the game. Geoff has an obsession with getting lots of midi people on the team (but don't tell him I said that) so expect some good music in the next demo.

I have some more things to show you, but I don't think the time is right. I have 2 ads/banners, but I don't think they should be released just yet (I've had one of them for like 2 months too). One of them shows off 3 enemies (including an Isonian), 1 of which is a boss that won't even be in the next demo, which is the reason you haven't seen it yet. Because the boss is VERY crucial to the story - and you can't see him because it will give stuff away. (No, it's NOT Mort)

Welp, that's all for now, seems almost as though we're not doing anything, eh?

Your game looks really great, and I downloaded the demo and beat it, but there's one minor problem: Keen doesn't hold on to ledges! Do you plan on including this feature? It's really crucial to make a Keen game "Keen" imo :)

(Btw, feel free to attack/punch/insult me, I volunteered to make midi's for this game about 9 months ago and then never did anything :o :o :( )

Re: Another update
We wanted that in, but DML said he can't do it, that it would be too hard ... sorry, we really wanted it too :(

Aw, too bad. But in that case the jump or pogo should probably be made more powerful, if you haven't done that already, to accomodate. I noticed that I couldn't get up to some of the higher ledges because I was used to being able to cling onto them and then climb up.

Ledges; Impossible Pogo

There will be other things in the game that make up for the lack of these features. Rest assured there are some MUCH more interesting things in the works which you won't see for a while ... they are worth the wait.

As far as grabbing onto ledges, I haven't talked to eK about this, but it'll make sense (not telling why :P ) in the final version that you can't, because it'd be a pretty big thing to ignore.
