Keen Asylum
It's here, (well almost). Commander Keen 5: Keen Asylum, level pack! 15 new levels (including the level map and high scores level) We're still polishing up some levels, and playtesting. Release date? November 14.
Till then check out this preview here.

The numbers do add up.
November, the eleventh month in binary means 3; so maybe it's supposed to mean 314.

Actually, I chose that day so we'd have enough time to playtest, but that sounds good to me. Very ingenius!
Brian Rogers, oops! I'll change that, but the ckpatch utils that came with the tededit package is credited to a Clive Turvey. *Shrugs*

I would try to make some (or finish my one) if it wouldn't be so hard! It's sometimes really painful for me; I always click wrong place and do allkinds of stupid.

Well, I'm about halfway through a Keen 4 level pack... I'll release some screens when I'm closer to being finished

Added: A-w-e-s-o-m-e!! Brilliant work there, pretty nice tricks and all kinds of stuff, I could never have even guessed that all of those things were possible! For a long time I haven't enjoyed any Keen levels this much. I've only played them easy, next I'll have to try with harder.
Can't wait to see the future work by you and the Asylum group.
Oh, and you forgot to change the readme, there still reads Clive Turvey.
Ah, I gotta learn how to use TED5 better. Well, at least after this mod..

I've only completed the ones over to the left so far (Sparky's thinggie on the right keeps scaring me off--I can't be bothered fighting for the damn tunnel), but from what I see, incredible work, says I. Yarr.
The levels flow so well, and the secret areas and amusing little tricks along the way are very well placed. Can't wait to get stuck into the rest of it.

Wow, this is a great level pack,
Only played a small portion so far but I'm completely blown away. I especially like the creativity used with the VolteFaces, when I first saw them -- I was like, "what the hell is this," and then it made sense.
I'm really glad I could use the new dosbox to run this.

Eh? There are patches to upgrade all the Keen games to a higher version number like 1.4.

Also, agree with you xtra. How that is done?
I also liked the names, they are very good.
But one thing: how do I get in to that area with all kinds of stuff, that is in "Keen's gone WILD!" or something like that, on left and up in the place where is that falling platform?
Also, I couldn't have even guessed you can use slicestars and volte-faces with switches; pretty creative!

Invisible Block? It's foreground block # 0x03FC
In "Keen's Gone WILD" you you must land on the falling platform. When it has fallen off the bottom of the screen, look up and shoot! Yup, you'll impossible bullet up. There is one other level where IB comes in handy.

Slicestar Guard District.
If a falling platform doesn't have a blocking info tile, it will fall off the bottom of the map. When it does that I'm guessing there's an empty (something?) that allows keen to rocket up when he uses his gun. And just as is in keen 6, if a nearby gun shoots, keen will no longer be able to IB in that location. A little trickier than in keen 6, but it's possible.

In Keen's gone wild, there was also a switch turning off a twirly fire thing ... lots of nice things in the level pack. WAY NICE!!!

Problem solved
I finally figured it out (although this could be bad news for those of you who don't have a backup copy of keen 5). One Keen5e.exe has been unlzexed, xtra's patches can't be applied. You have to patch it first, and THEN use unlzexe on keen5e.exe. It should work then.
