Collective Keen Mod?
Who would be interested in designing a collective mod for Keen1? I could set up another Ezboard in which we can post ideas, images, and other bits and pieces, as well as improvements on previously posted items... then we can vote/discuss which parts make it into the mod.

Posts wouldn't need to be specifically about what will go in the mod... miscellaneous creatures, mythology, 'Wouldn't it be cool if...?' type questions, short stories, character profiles, and whatever else might help bring the game world truly to life would be more than welcome.

All loose ends would be covered (all sprites, tiles, storyline text, necessary tileinfo/ckxpatch/etc patch info, and so on), so once we've decided on how everything will look and work, a mod can more or less be instantaneously manifested. Who takes care of actually putting the mod together we can work out when the time comes.

It'd be an interesting exercise... I'd love to see what would evolve from such an immense collaborative effort.

I can set something up more or less immediately if enough people are interested.

Don't see why not... or at least there should be a seperate Keen forum for modding. It's getting to be a big enough subject that it deserves to have its own place (people can explain their tips 'n' tricks).

Me too! I've never done a mod, but I've been considering it (I downloaded the tools). I'll help in any way I can. I'm good at plots, by the way, and mabye character design.

Yeah, and we can plan and work on that in adurdin's board, there's that general modding section and so on..
I have sometimes thought that somekind of community mod would be nice, but great to see that someone has started something.
