Commander Keen and Mortimer McMire...
...so, what would be their tastes in things like music, computer games, etc?
List what you think Commander Keen would like and dislike, and what Mortimer McMire would like and dislike?

Surprisingly, I think both of them would hate the mindless violence of doom. They would both probably like games that are heavy in strategy. Thus, I think that they would both enjoy RTS (RealTime Strategies). Mabye Keen and Mortimer have been too busy playing starcraft to save/destroy the universe.   The Official Keenbound Site

no, I think MM would ge bored with that in like 4 seconds. I know I would have to be really bored to just kill Keen over and over...
I think he tortures the real keen for fun.

Hmmm, interesting topic..
Well, about music. I ofcourse hope Keen would like techno and trance and maybe classic music too.. Mort would listen to somekind of rock or something.
Keen would like platforms and all kinds of puzzles and brain teasers, but Mortimer would like first person shooters..

MUSIC: Mort would be into the classics. I can just imagine him stomping his Mangling Machine over Vorticon IV with Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries" playing in the cockpit stereo... Or Holst's "Mars, Bringer of War" in the control room of the Omegamatic - wait a minute... 
Keen, I agree, would be a techno freak! (The whole "geniuses listen to classical music" notion is just propaganda... to make kids sit through opera, etc.)
But then, I'm just saying this coz those two styles are the major ones that I listen to...
GAMING: Keen plays retro Nintendo games. This is a fact. Read the background on Billy Blaze and where he got the Bean-With-Bacon's controls from... 
Mortimer would probably be into C&C-type of games, where you send your armies out to their doom/victory, and other God-playing games like SimEarth, SimCity, etc. Both Keen and Mort would quickly tire of the monotony and narrow-mindedness of first-person-shooters.
FOOD: Keen lives on junk food and loathes veggies. I'm guessing that in Mort's case it's vice versa... 
MOVIES: Keen's favourite movie: "2001: A Space Odyssey". Mort's favourite movie: "Silence of the Lambs".  (Or possibly "Mars Attacks!")
20 YEARS ON: Keen - Most likely to be a rocket scientist. Mort - Most likely to be President of the USA!

I'd say that Mort would listen to the "Galatic Empire" theme off Star Wars. Suits him doesn't it, just need to give him a lightsaber and a Dark Helmet.
I'd also think that there should be a Keen mod where Keen is put in a parallel universe and Mort needs Keen to get outta there and Keen needs Mort to get outta there.So they have to work together to win. Its either a 2 player or 1 level you play as Mort and 1 you play Keen, until all levels are complete and you win.

Wouldnt it be possible to just change the keen graphic for different levels? They would probably handle exactly the same way.

I had had an idea once for a fangame, where Mortimer discovers a species of creatures that far exceeds his I.Q., and he is forced to get Keen's help to defeat them (since those creatures also wish to rule the universe).

That sounds like a good idea. Hm... mabye someone can make 2 mods that follow that concept (ie, keen stars in one, Mort stars in the other). They could be keen 3 mods (mabye).

Mort and Billy are cool, If robotics were good enough, I'd make an android of Mort, send him off to my school, and....... you know......... kidnap the teachers, take them to Korath III or somewhere remote, either that or pick up chicks with a Mort android.
C.K's bot would go around and go after bullies and bad guys and whatnot. Make a neural stunner too.
