Dopefish, Shikadi, Mimrocks, oh my! *UPDATED* as of 5/13/03.
NEW! - 5/13/03
Here's a couple odd little things that I whipped up quickly. A free Shikadi Soda to the first person to name who the Mimrock is based off of.

Nothing new except for a new and improved Lick that should satisfy you art critics out there. I tried redrawing the Shockshund, but some things obviously weren't meant to be reinvented. I've also got something slightly more elaborate that I hope to finish sometime next week.

Three new pictures today, although only one has been colored, and it's not shaded just yet. The Shockshund didn't turn out too well, but the other two are rather nice. And comments are really appreciated.

Whee. The Mad Mushroom has been shaded, although I screwed up the placement of its shadow. Silly me. Anyway, here's a Volteface to look at.
EDIT: Gack. I've had the MM around ever since that mega-post, but I apparently forget to put it in with the rest.  'Shroom added.
REEDIT: Smirky Guy shaded. Woohoo.

I officially love Photoshop, despite it taking a few hours to learn the basics needed to make that.

One Little Ampton drawing. Looks pretty nice, I think. The right hand is clipped off due to a little error I like to call, "running out of room on the paper."
On a side-note, I went ahead and downloaded the Photoshop demo, so the coloring may actually improve.

Just one more, but I think it turned out pretty nicely. I spent a little more time on the coloring, although there's still no shading.

That took long enough to type up. God bless Copy & Paste. The color ones are what I whipped up quickly with a semi-decent program, but they aren't astounding to say the least. If anyone with a decent digital coloring program wants to have a go at any of these, go ahead. Just give me some credit, 'k? I may go back and hand-color the originals later.

Behold, it is the DOPEFISH!
2/5/03 - This is a drawing of everyone's favorite Dopefish. I printed off the sprite and did my best to duplicate it. After a long session of digital coloring, I have what you see here. A nice, high-res Dopefish burping. I also drew a Yorp and a Garg in the same style (from memory, though), but I haven't colored them yet.
The Original - 2/4/03
Now that I've done the obligatory Wizard of Oz pun, here's a big batch of pencil sketches I've done over the past few days at school. Be warned: Most of them really aren't that good.
Sketch Sheet #1 The first batch I drew.
Sketch Sheet #2. Batch two. A little better. This one includes every enemy from Keen 4-6 plus a few from IotV.
An actual drawing, with slight homage to Shadowlands.
Mimrocks. Just look.
The only color drawing, and the only jpeg. Probably the best in terms of artistic quality.
I've noticed something: Mimrocks are a blast to draw. They end up looking a little like Kirby though.

Yeah. I noticed that pencil doesn't scan well, but darkening the pictures didn't help any either. I'll probably work with pen in the future.

Yep. The Mimrocks were done Anime-ish on purpose. Expect to see similar things in the future. And give me a few minutes, and I'll have a barrelful of new pictures up.

Wow, really cool! nice work. i like the bounder, BWB and the RoboRed best! dopefish was good! listen someone said was there a keen6 sprite sheet made? does that mean that there were ck4 and 5 sheets were? if so can somone post one or better yet mail them me at, KeenMaster@FSmail.net cheers

They're included in the CK Ultima package, which you can find on CC314. Anyway, thanks for the compliments!

Mimrocks. Just look = I really like this one (Considering that it is b&w.
The Great Chase = Personally, one of my favourites.
Dopefish = Cool
Arachnut = Hahaha! I love the drool!
Bounder - Nice, I like this one, considering that it's so simple.
Garg - It's okay.
Poison Slug - Looks bloated. Still, it looks cool.
Robo Red - Nice, but could be more detailed.
Shikadi Master - Cool
The Smirky Guy = Looks really nice
Yorp = Neat
B-W-B Megarocket - It looks just like the one in the gbc version, so i give it thumbs up.
Little Ampton - One of my favourites, one of the best.
Mad Mushroom - Very nice & detailed. Top Notch!
Volteface - Very nice & detailed. Top Notch! I've always thought that Voltefaces looked like giant breasts when they were stunned! 
Scottie :  I really like this one, it looks like a very old scottie and very detailed as well!
Shockshund - Nah, I don't like this one. Doesn't look like a shockshund.
Lick - Looks a bit bloated. It doesn't look too nice.

Seriously though, my favorite picture is the smirky guy. Least favorite (predictibly) is the shockshund (the Shikadi Master didn't look bad though, so I dunno what went wrong).
