More wallpaper
On the way to making the kickarsest music video ever, I've made another wallpaper, this one of Spot pining for places beyond this planet. The image above links to the 380 k jpeg (1280x1024, use MS Photo editor or better to resize it if you like).

The picture evokes strong emotions, a good scenario. Looks like Spot longs for freedom.
Great work with the graphics. Although, the enlarged moon doesn't seem to get along with the overall mood of the work.

very unique use of shading--the tree itself looks almost cel-shaded, while the moon looks real, the tire-swing and Spot look CG'ed, and the background is a traditional silhouette... an incredible mixture of styles that implies a lot more than face-value :-)
great work!

Thanks guys.  It is a bit rough around the edges though. Sillouhettes a little lame and not cartoonish enough, mysterious hole in bottom of water dish, tyre too brightly lit.
Music video? It's my current big project. Perhaps I'll finish it. Story board in fifty words or less: Spot in backyard, sad. Beam of light transports him to Mars, where his people happily mine candy from the very rock. Rave alarm sounds, so everyone rushes off to have one, beautiful Garg girl singing, Spot falls in love and elopes with Garg lady all to the tune of "I Can't Stop Raving" by DJ Liquid.
That's probably more than fifty, though.
