help wanted
Okay, I'm looking for some dedicated/inventive people to help me out on completely re-making Bloogology!
In case you don't remember the original hit, it was the... Study of bloogs! And since I've lost contact with every person who helped me make it, I need help. The graphics are, well, old and cheesy. I don't have enough screenshots of well, anything. It was under construction when it went under.
In short, its old, its ugly, it's the brainchild of a 15 year old happy kid I want to rediscover.

Wow! Haven't seen you post here in ages! I'd like to help however I can, but I wasn't one of the people that helped you make it so someone else can probably do a better job. I always wondered what happened to Bloogology... It was a great site. First of the -ologys I believe.
Good luck, and can't wait until you redo the site!

It was the first -ology, and I never should have abandoned it. As always, fan contributions are welcome.
And I'd love any help I can get. All I can do is the ideas and the html. I'm absolute crap with graphics of any kind, and all the gods of any religion combined could not help me take a screenshot of anything in dos.
So, tell me what you can do, and I'll see what needs to be done. I want to community to feel proud. My days of seeking personal glory are over.

If you like ck.net will host the new Bloogology? Also he’s wont be around for about a week or so, but MRC, would probably be willing to help you graphic wise.

Nope, it's not up anymore, anywhere I don't believe. At least from what I remember. Awhile back I tried to retrieve the site from archive.org (for keencyclopedia), but I couldn't get it there either. Just have to wait until Thea makes a new page.

Thea had moved the site to Games Realm at one time, but it has since been taken over by a porn site (oops...)

Bloogology? That was one of the first Commander Keen sites I found! It was awesome!
Thea, If your host supports ASP, I'd be glad to help with any coding. ...Or graphics--I can take screenshots, but I'm not extremely awesome with making pictures, and stuff...

This is all too great, thanks guys! Maybe I should just upload what I have on my hd (its all there ) and we can come up with what needs to be improved. Like I said, I have zero graphics skills and my html is probably sadly out of date, but we'll do what we can.
Oh, I MIGHT have hosting on apogeecentral.com but I'll have to check and make sure. If not, the computer next to me is running a webserver and I can probably get my roomie to give me another subdomain for the time being. Or maybe I should wait until he turns it into a dedicated linux server like he's been ranting about. Time will tell.

that's just nasty
I just looked it over, and a LOT needs to be changed. Dead links, dead counters and some generally ugly stuff.
I'm glad I have the whole day to myself.
And at the moment, altogether the site is about 13mb in size, that's pretty huge.

I'd be happy to help with anything I can. But there's virtualy nothing I can do. My bad English prevents me from writing anything. I know HTML, but I can't create a good looking layout as much as I try. If you need any screenshots, I'll be happy to take 'em.

If you're gonna be hosted on a Linux server, you won't have any ASP, PHP would be cool... but I don't know much php... I'm excited to see the rebirth of bloogology, and I'll do anything I'm capable of to help.

I've returned now and i would be willing to help, if Thea was to give instructions on the graphics. Basically, it would be much easier to have a separate layout designer telling me how it is going to be wanted.
and if you need fan art.. well, i guess that's much easier than making a website.

sorry I'm back
Sorry about disappearing like that; my computer died and it looks like it might take a LOT to get it running again, but I can get hosting from here once I get my computer running again. I can't even format it without it spewing errors at me.
I'll keep you posted. The latest (hopefully) that it will be out will be monday; that's my first day back at college.

Your computers probably not broken anymore, so when should we be expecting Bloogology’s return? Many people haven’t even seen this website and it’s return must be highly anticipated. If your really busy you might consider giving it to the TLC of the Keencyclopedia to index for posterity’s sake.
