What a sad story...I'm gonna cry (a little sarcasm here but it really is sad).
By the way, whats that thing that went woop or some sound out of the exploding planet? it looked like a boomerang but i'm not sure.

That was Cosmo's parents' spaceship. Don't you remember that bit from the Cosmo story,when their boomerang-shaped ship got hit by some kind of space-rock, which sent them careening into The Forbidden Planet, thus initiating...
...Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure!

O&BTW, the soon-to-come Epilogue will make up for this episode's "Sad"-ness, much the same way that this whole Forum makes up for the demise of the Commander Keen series... (Whoah - did I just write that?! I think I'm gonna gag now!) ...Stay tuned!

And the Epilogue is posted up! It's OVER!
It's in SGA. If you translate it, you'll find a intentional mistake at the end (it's supposed to be a running gag in-joke kinda thing). If you find any mistakes in my ABC-to-SGA translation, like "Strcture" or something silly like that, then it's also intentional. Yeeeaaahhhh..... that's riiiight.... Heh. Hehhhhh.....
But it's not the end of the COC website! Keep watching for more stuff, and don't be afraid to make suggestions (or threatening demands).

Now if anyone found out what it said without translating it all by themself if would undermine the significance of the message! Do your fellow Keensters a favour and let them work it out themselves...
And non-Keensters wouldn't even understand it if they DID translate it.

"They" is ME. I pondered whether to name Keen's pet yorp "Yorpy" or "Yorpie" for a while before choosing the former for my TUIT comics. I didn't know what its real name was, and I didn't remember anybody on this messageboard having the name "Yorpy" either!
But it does go nicely into SGASCII (Standard Galactic ASII... heheh):

Well, intentional on *my* part, at least.
Maybe it represents the misinterpretations of Keen that have arisen from Keensters who try to read too much into Keen... etc etc
