Commander Keen Painting

This is a work in progress commissioned piece. 100 x 140 cm, acrylic. The paint flies soon.

Yes, I know he has no head at this point.

I'll post more pics as it progresses.

Oh, BTW It looks awesome!:drool But don't fall for the trap many people already did - making Keen look older than 8.

It is kind of fun to see Djaser praying in front of a huge picture with a flamethrower in the hand... But... Can you get me some space to pray too, Djaser?

Re: Commander Keen Painting
I'm curious as to who asked someone to create such a large piece of Keen art for him/her.
I'm also curious about the progress.

I read you are already aware he's missing a head momentarily, so you probably won't forget adding one.
He looks a bit... different without one.
I like the pose though, it's dynamic, and it's the entire character.

Wow, sudden influx of productive forumers. How odd.

Who would commision something like that. Looks nice so far, probably better with a head. :D

Well, seeing as how it's a "commissioned piece", I would say yes.

Lemme be more specific: Would they take a commission from someone living near San Diego, California? :-)

What this 'commissions' mean? :confused Does this mean you're painting this for someone for money or something?

There is plenty of space in front of my flame thrower.

Yes indeedy. Usually those big paintings that bosses have in their offices are commisioned.

And if not, it just takes Djaser one click of the trigger to clear the space again! :D

Uhhh... let's put this topic back on course before it's locked.

Any further progress on the painting?
