Game Boy Color Keen
I certainly expected it to happen, how about you? Keen for Game Boy is not delayed, but I checked Chips & Bits today and it is delayed to January of 2001. If it gets delayed any more, maybe id could just release it for Game Boy Advance.

Look on the bright side; if they're delaying it, it probably means that they've decided to put some extra fancy goodies in it instead of just making a crappy old game that doesn't deserve the title "for game boy color". Maybe they're partly redoing the first 6 (or at least 3) games now to make them more up to today's standarts.

Hey! go here pocket.ign.com/news/22671.html . Thats talking about the new Keen game for Game Boy Color...Not much there though. It just says that Activision has neither confirmed or denied working on the game. So its still up in the air. Hopefully it'll come out on top though.

You can already pre-order it in one place, so I'm pretty positive that it's not just a rumour.
While I'm waiting for Keen to come out next year, however, I'll be watching for Jazz Jackrabbit for GB Color in a few weeks (another one of my favorite games).

There is a chance that Keen on the game boy is just a rumour. Here's what Joe Siegler of 3D Realms had to say about it:
"Here's the deal with this Keen Color Gameboy. I made a few phone calls this morning - called Tom Hall, Todd Hollenshead (CEO of id), and Scott Miller this morning.
All of them said that it's something that's been discussed, but nothing's been finalized. The Chips & Bits thing is highly presumptious - I wouldn't take that as any kind of official anything.
If it does happen, it most likely won't be anything more than a port of portions of Keen 4 & 5 - I got told that the unit can't technically recreate the current games as they are, will only be portions of the game - if it happens at all."

There is a chance that the game will never go ahead. Personally I hope it does.

What I know about it
I've aquired some information on the Keen color gameboy. It is a re-make of the first Commander Keen with all new graphics and a few new levels. I got the information from gamers.com. Hope that helps!

I know hear from my source that it is due in February of 2001. I have this strange feeling that it will get puched back until March sometime soon. Then, sometime as we enter the new year, it will be cancelled. I have a feelign that this whole thing is a very large rumor.

Even if Keen does come to Game Boy Color It's just gonna
be another of those games with a tiny little 4x4 character
with awful grindy music like Duke Nukem on it was.
