What order did you play the keen games?
Just wondering if anybody actually played them in order. I went 2, 4, 5, 1, dreams, 6, 3. Can't get much more random than that!

I'm one of the old school players that started playing when 1-3 were brand new, though I couldn't for the life of me tell you guys how I got the game to begin with. I know I bought 2-3 after playing 1 shareware, but I dunno how I was introduced to the games.

Keen 2 came with our new computer we got back in '91. It was a 286 with 2 mb of ram. Keen 5 came with my sister's new computer she got a few years after that. I'm the only one who's posted so far who started with a registered episode!

Got Keen 1 along with the registered version of Crystal Caves, thought Keen's deceleration was pitiful and made the game too hard for my little 9 year old head.... put it on the shelf. then i got Keen 6... soo...
K1, K6, K5, K4, K2, K3, KDreams. haven't played GBK yet.

Edit: in response to MRC Marky's comment, the episode i am by far closest to is Keen 6. i'm absolutely in love with not only the look and feel of all of Fribbulus Xax, but the music for the Guard Posts, the Domes, and even the Factories is just awesome. Can't say i'm all that loving of Bloog Aeronautics and Space Administration's music (also used in Bloogton Tower and the Blooglab) but its worth tolerating for the rest of the game :-)
A side note: as soon as summer hits, i start work on my Keen1 mod... muahahaha

1........ , 4 , KD , 5 , 6 , 2 ,.......................3...........ISIS  . Of these, K4 is the one that became a very close episode to me.. it's very earthly, warm and.. i played it for a year :P. An interesting question though.

"Aliens Ate My Babysitter" on Easy,
"The Armageddon Machine" on Easy,
"Secret of the Oracle" on Easy,
"Marooned on Mars,"
and I just beat "Aliens Ate My Babysitter" last week on Hard.

I played Keen games when I got my first computer. An 486 (I still have it!} and I got Keen 4 with it.
K4,K1,KD,K5,K2,K3,K6,KGBC
My favorite one is probably Keen 6.
And look my sig is smaller!

i don't want to give too much away at this time, lets just say its gonna be my own take on what episode 7 shoulda been like. :-) new enemies, new locations... Xky's own pitiful attempt at the Keen spirit. be merciful, its not summer just yet :-)

I think I played them in order from 1-5 and then KD and then I played Keen 6 two summers ago. I actually haven't played for a while. *shudder*
