Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure MIDI
Here's a first attempt at one, made without IMF2MID at all... this is just Xky's ear and repeated listenings to the mp3's from Spatang.com...
I'm not even sure if 'Tech2' is the correct name for this... personally I call it the 'Mechanized Picnic' :-)

Feedback? IMF2MID assistance? Anything?

Frighteningly accurate for a MIDI. Sounds about as good as I think you could get.

Woah! I'd like to have an ear like yours!
Great job with the MIDI. Will you be doing any more (from Cosmo?)

re: MIDI
Thanks for the quick praise, guys! :-)
I'd love to do more, as well as officially finishing redoing the Keen4-6 MIDI's. Only thing stopping me from doing Cosmo's music is that I can't play the IMF files (see the "Duke Nukem II MIDI thread in this forum) and nobody's run IMF2MID on the lot.
But I really had a lot of fun working on this one--it's my 2nd favorite Cosmo song (The IMF File "Easy2" is my favorite, if I remember correctly).
Either way, any more Cosmo MIDI's from me at this point would be done by ear and would take a LOT longer (this song is quite simple)... But we'll see. At the very least, I could do the Keen4-6 stuff next chance I get--just gotta find my ZIP! :-)

re: Cosmo MIDI
Alright, now I'm just plain frustrated. I can't get these to work:
http://home.comcast.net/~pogo72/otherindex.html
The Cosmo IMF's... they're all broken for me. I really want to use IMF2MIDI.exe and start work on these things, but it's just not working. *grumbles*
...and my ear isn't really good enough to pick out the bass notes all the time. I spent a while listening to Cosmo1-level9's bassline and some of the notes are just plain indiscernable to me. :-( TMST or Ilsoap could probably nail 'em in 30 seconds... but not me. lol
Help, anyone?

Still having problems with those Cosmo IMF's?
.. Do you have the most recent version of the plugin?
adplug.sourceforge.net/
If you do.. Well, that's about the best I can do, sorry

re: Yowza
Hey, that worked! Thank you! Now I can at least PLAY the Cosmo IMF's in WinAmp...
But I still can't get IMF2MIDI.exe to work on 'em. All I get is a blank MID file with no data. :-(

Re: re: Yowza
Oops!
I forgot all about that Xky! Here are the 19 Cosmo tunes. They're broken up into each song's 8 individual channels. IMF2MIDI doesn't convert very well when all 8 IMF channels are present, and I am currently away from a PC that can put them back together.
